Subsequently, the traditional method involves bottling with liqueur de tirage, a blend of sugar, yeast, and wine, to initiate secondary fermentation, resulting in carbonation. Following disgorgement, which removes any frozen sediment from the bottle after the second fermentation, and just before final corking, a dosage of 22g/l is meticulously added.
